This song was built around earthy textures and organic sounds that we felt embody the feeling of the word 'torrid' - dry, energetic, and autumnal. We wanted it to have a loose, fluid feeling but still be tied down by tight percussion and concrete rhythms. Overall, the track is meant to capture the anticipation as one moves through Fall towards a much colder, darker season.
