A few words from HOUNDTRACK 💬
With Gleam I was channeling sunset drives on the 101 freeway between Santa Barbara (where my family lives) and Los Angeles (where I went to school).

There's a beautiful spot on the drive near Ventura where the cliff-sides fade away and the ocean is right next to the road. The water shimmers to the west and fog floats on the mountains to the east. I've done that drive probably 300 times but it never gets old.

I worked on the main part of this song for a while and got a bit stuck. After chatting with Sao Kzu, I sent him some demos and he liked this one. He came through with the perfect second drop and I think it ties the song together really well.
