The story of Giovanni Brogioni is one that varies in not just the cultures of his upbringing, but also in his versatile instrumentality, which has culminated in his vision under the moniker, náttúra. Prior to settling in New York City at the age of 14, Giovanni was born in Perugia, Italy, and raised in Moscow, Russia. It was during his upbringing where he picked up drums and guitar, delving deeply into metal, trip hop, and shoegaze, before discovering his love for electronic music, largely those pertaining to heavier sounds such as dubstep and dnb. He would go on to release a plethora of melodic trap songs featuring futuristic synths and driving drums, before delving back into his roots and incorporating those heavier sounds with modern synthesizers, most notably heard in his tracks “taut” and “serpentine”.
