Based out of West Michigan, Bonsai Radio host Frankie Kule grew up surrounded by music. An avid percussionist, DJ, and music enthusiast from a young age, Frankie frequently found himself sifting through a myriad of songs of various genres, searching for tracks to provoke a variety of emotions in its listeners. Finding a common theme in the struggles of producers and musicians to have their music heard, he set out with the intent of creating a platform to help provide exposure for up and coming artists, and give music fans a source to more easily access underground and unique sounds.
